Students to test out bus rides

On Thursday, Aug. 27, all Hollis children entering kindergarten and first grade will take part in an orientation program designed to ease their transition to school.

Students will be picked up at their bus stops, transported to Hollis Primary School, visit with their teacher, explore their classroom and then board the bus for the trip home. Buses will start routes at 8:30 a.m., with arrival at Hollis Primary School around 9 a.m. Parents will receive additional information in the mail.

Parent volunteers will ride the bus routes with the children and direct them to their classrooms.
