The Friends of Marguerite’s Place invites the public to join them on Sunday, February 28th at Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant in Nashua for a special Full Moon Margarita Madness event in their lounge that evening. Margarita’s has graciously chosen Marguerite’s Place, a nonprofit transitional housing and supportive services program for homeless women in crisis and their children, as the recipient of their monthly Full Moon Margarita Madness events on January 30th, February 28th, and March 30th.

In celebration of Rotary International’s 105th anniversary the Hudson Litchfield Rotary Club, along with Rotary Clubs worldwide, is currently working to raise $200 million toward a $355 million challenge grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to eradicate polio globally. The resulting $555 million will directly support immunization in developing countries where polio continues to infect and paralyze children.

As part of strategic planning efforts around local community transportation, the Souhegan Valley Transportation Collaborative (SVTC) and the Nashua Regional Planning Commission recently conducted a survey. Marguerite’s Place is a nonprofit transitional housing and supportive services program for homeless women in crisis and their children.
