Hannah Dustin Quilt Guild tackles UFOs

HUDSON – Today’s meeting of Hannah Dustin Quilt Guild will feature an auction of UFOs – no, not the alien type, but an assortment of unfinished quilts started by ambitious sewists and left undone. In other words, one’s pain is another’s gain. It will be a great opportunity to get a head start on quilting in 2010.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the Hudson Community Center on Lions Avenue. Non-members are welcome to attend the meeting for a $5 fee. In the event of bad weather, the meeting is cancelled when Hudson schools close. Then the meeting is rescheduled for the following Monday.

The Hannah Dustin Quilt Guild is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the art and craft of quilting and is comprised of members with a wide range of interests and abilities. For more information call Cindy at 882-2851.
