Woman being arrested allegedly fought, spat on officer
HUDSON – A Hudson woman is accused of fighting with an officer who was arresting her on a drunken driving charge, police said.
Officer Michael Davis subdued Kimberly Coulter, 45, with a burst of pepper spray, though she later kicked and spat at another officer while medics treated her, police said. Coulter was taken into custody on charges of DWI, second offense; resisting arrest; simple assault and attempted assault.
Davis had stopped Coulter for erratic operation on Grand Avenue, near Derry Street, shortly before midnight Saturday, police said.
Coulter spent the remainder of the weekend at the Hillsborough County jail, unable to post $1,500 bail, and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning in Nashua District Court.
