Navy Seaman Amanda C. Pope, daughter of Vicki L. and James J. Pope, of Brookline, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. Pope is a 2004 graduate of Hollis/Brookline High School and a 2008 graduate of Salem State College in Salem, Mass., where she received a BA degree.
