Woman and girl, 8, are Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Match of Month

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the February Match of the Month, submitted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua.

NASHUA – Later this month Pamme Boutselis and Hannah Winslow will be celebrating two years in the Big Brothers Big Sisters community-based program. They are excited about this milestone and have a wonderful relationship to celebrate.

Pamme and Hannah meet a couple of times a month and love to bake, watch movies and go to the book store. Pamme and 8-year-old Hannah also share a love for animals and have visited zoos, the pet store and have spent time walking Pamme’s dogs.

Hannah loves to meet with her Big Sister because “she is so nice and nice to talk to.” Hannah also loves that her Big Sister likes to read and likes books. Hannah especially remembers going to Barnes & Noble’s Polar Express event in December, where there was a reading of the “Polar Express” and hot cocoa.

Pamme loves meeting with Hannah because she is open to any experience and is truly appreciative of the time they spend together. Pamme enjoys doing activities with Hannah that she had once done with her children, who are now much older. For Pamme, it is like a mini-vacation when she is with Hannah; regardless of what is going on in her life, it’s a reminder of how much fun even the simplest of things can be.
