Amherst Garden Club to meet

AMHERST – On Thursday, Feb. 4, the Amherst Garden Club will feature Barbara Emerson, past president of the Mailorder Gardening Association and 16-year veteran in sales and marketing at Horticulture Magazine, speaking on “The Edible Landscape.”

Emerson will talk about integrating edible plants in the ornamental garden; she will show how the height, shape, texture, fragrance and color of edibles can make your garden look and taste wonderful this summer.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. with coffee and refreshments followed by a short business meeting. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. Meetings are free and open to the public.
