MERRIMACK – Parents are invited to attend an information night from 6-7 Wednesday, Jan. 27, to learn about programs for the 2010-11 school year at Merrimack YMCA Child Care Center, 6 Henry Clay Drive. A short presentation will begin at 6:15 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and child care will be available for this event.

Child Care programs to be highlighted are: full-day kindergarten (9 a.m.-3 p.m.), extended day kindergarten, Kindergarten Extension for public school kindergarten students, pre-kindergarten, preschool and toddlers (both 1- and 2-year-old groups).

The Merrimack YMCA Early Childhood Program is a state-licensed, developmental program that supports the cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth of each child. Children are encouraged to explore their environment, make appropriate choices and solve problems on an individual as well as a group level.

Registration for 2010-11 school year begins Jan. 25 for families that are currently enrolled, Feb. 1 for other YMCA families and Feb. 8 for the general public.
