YMCA Child Care Parent Information Night

Published: Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Parents are invited to attend an information night on January 27th from 6:00 to 7:00pm to learn about the Merrimack YMCA’s child care programs for the 2010/2011 school year. A short presentation will begin at 6:15. Light refreshments will be served and child care will be available for this event.

Child Care programs to be highlighted are: Full-day Kindergarten (9am-3pm) and extended day, Kindergarten Extension for public-school kindergarten students, Pre-kindergarten, Preschool and Toddlers (both one year old and two year old groups).

The Merrimack YMCA Early Childhood Program is a state-licensed, developmental program that supports the cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth of each child. We believe that learning is interactive, dynamic and fun. Children are encouraged to explore their environment, make appropriate choices, and solve problems on an individual as well as a group level.

The YMCA’s program is unique in that it is able to provide enrichment programs within our facilities such as swimming, creative movement, gym classes, and specialty art classes. These activities enhance the curriculum and address the physical needs of each child.

Please stop by the information night to find out more about how the YMCA’s program encourages the “whole” child to develop, learn and grow! The Merrimack YMCA is located at 6 Henry Clay Drive.

Registration for 2010/2011 school year begins January 25th for families that are currently enrolled, February 1st for all YMCA families and Febrary 8th for the general public. Don’t miss a chance to reserve a spot for your child while there’s space available!

For more information contact the Merrimack YMCA at 603-881-7778 or visit the YMCA website at www.nmymca.org.
