Gold Party New England event to benefit SHARE
Published: Thursday, December 10, 2009
MILFORD – The newest trend in home parties will take place Friday to benefit local families this holiday season.
Gold Party New England will be at JM Princewells on the Milford Oval from 6-9 p.m. to appraise unwanted gold items and pay cash to the owners. JM Princewell will then donate a percentage of all proceeds to SHARE.
Gold parties have become the latest trend in home party businesses. Unlike Tupperware or Pampered Chef, party goers actually receive money rather spending it. Participants bring their unwanted gold pieces to be evaluated and are paid cash.
Gold is currently trading at record highs. According to Blanchard and Company Inc., one of the largest retailers of rare coins and metals in the United States, the price of gold hit a record breaking $1,194 per ounceon Nov. 25, up from $969 per ounce in August.
JM Princewells is at 127 Union Square. Call Gold Specialist Heidi Barnes at 689-5788 with questions or e-mail heidib@goldpartynewengland.com.
