PMEC Fall Harvest Festival

AMHERST – The Amherst Recreation Department is hosting a Fall Harvest Festival at the Peabody Mill Environmental Center on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday from 4-6:30 p.m., enjoy pumpkin decorating (bring your own pumpkin), face painting, scarecrow building (bring clothes, and we’ll provide the hay) and treats like pizza, hot dogs, chili and more. Join the Spooky Hike with a naturalist educator from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and then gather around the campfire for storytelling and marshmallow roasting from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, participate in sack races, three-legged race, doughnut eating contest, leaf print making, mini wreath making and music from 2-5 p.m. There will also be a farmer’s market and an apple pie baking contest.
Pre-registration is $4 per Amherst resident or $6 per non-resident and $10 per Amherst family or $14 per non-resident family.
At the gate, tickets are $5 per Amherst resident or $7 per non-resident and $12 per Amherst family or $16 per non-resident family.
